greetings from the parched lands down under. i have returned to the prison known as Currie Hall. finding ways to survive the unbearable heat and incessant boredom here is my new pasttime. the temperature is a blistering 35 degrees. Australia needs to be introduced to the greatest invention of all time - the air-conditioner.
missing all of you in Singapore right now, especially the gang. don't worry about me i'm doing fine. besides the fact that i forgot to mention i am swimming in a inter-hall competition next week and thus i have only a week to prepare for it after not swimming for 4 years. how exciting. my heart is racing, adrenaline pumping... i have to wake up at 630am for training and after that i can look forward to 6hours of lecture. EXCITING HUH ?! hah ! don't worry i'll survive...

i realise i have been negelecting this space for some time, but my excuse is a fair one. the bum has started work. albeit boring, the pay is decent. the office of hell is located at One Raffles Quay, so if anybody wants to lunch with me they are welcome. in the mean time, i'll just be posting some pictures from the office, with the brilliant matt darey and posting some links for some live sets. till the next time, P.O.A.T.

i am still relishing in the memory of the glorious weekend holed up at nhongsa village in batam. the sun, the sand and the sea...and the fish. it was one crazy weekend of fun and fishing. i never thought that i would embrace fishing with open arms since i am not a lover of the sea, but i managed to cope since the rest were so enthusiastic and i am not one to be a mood dampener. after 3 days and 2 nights of endless fishing, and indulgence, the tally stands at 6 sharks, some other fishies and a hell of alot of sotong ! to top it off we saw that phenomenal comet with the bluish green tail in the sky on the ferry back to singapore - phwoarrrr... batam part 2 - RSVP NOW.
in other news, i ORD today ! my boss told me to write a testimonial for myself and future reference (which is kind of weird since he is supposed to write one for me) but anyway, after much insistance i aquiesced and wrote a one whole page of half-truths that propelled me to such great heights on a pedestal that far exceeds beyond what any man has ever dared to dream of. i am only telling you this because i feel a little guilty.
oh and i crashed NUS today for a philosophy lecture which i ended up dozing off at. as far as i can tell SMU > NUS. will take much more than a "smoke-free" campus to win me over.
Oh, and try to guess from the pictures below what present jon and leslie got me for christmas ? JOKES. it doesn't work. really.

it's been raining cats and dogs here for the past 3 days straight. and like the weather, i've been feeling rather shitty lately. i'm not a control freak but events out of your control that you want to change just piss the living daylights out of me. this is starting to become a festive season mood dampener.
at least tomorrow i have something to look forward to. i shall embrace korean food and drama serials. fk perth.
